Reasons That You Should Go Climbing With Me:

1. My job prospects are dismal, but climbing prospects are quite good.
2. I`m terribly out-of-shape. You`ll be able to catch up on your reading during the approach.
3. Climbing with me makes you a better person. Its true! Everyone knows that patience is a virtue, and you`ll learn lots of it while I second the pitch.
4. I`m down for whatever. I had going to the Rockies in mind for mid-April, Yosemite late April to early May, and then Bugs and more alpine in the summer. But I`m flexible. Yes, I`d like to climb that with you.
5. I swear to god, I`ll get better at climbing, and then you`ll have a functional partner. If I don`t, so help me, one of these days, I`m gonna jump.
6. I want to go to Yosemite, and I wanna learn this short-fixing fast mixed-free-and-aid business. I`ll get good at it quickly, and it won`t be so obvious that you`ve got a sack of potatoes for a climbing partner. Plus, teaching people stuff is fun. Make you feel like real big man!
7. You get to lead all the good pitches.
8. I won`t hold you up as much as you think I will. I`ll hold you up, but not as much as you think. Consider it a rest day, if you must.
9. Its fun.
